Would you like to learn more about the mysterious world of fungi? The Oklahoma Mycological Society hosts monthly meetings from 6-8pm at various venues around Oklahoma. The OKMS Meeting night is on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Tulsa Garden Center. It is a good idea to check the website for any schedule changes and venue locations. Forays are a staple of mycological societies and OKMS is no exception. Whether in the back-country far from home or in the city park right around the corner, fungi are everywhere. When we get out and find out fungi friends. Members of OKMS will have access to overnight and day trips to the wilderness of Oklahoma organized by the society. Ready to dive deep in your myco-skills education? OKMS offer hands on workshops that’ll your relationship with the mycelium. We teach home and farm scale mushroom cultivation, gardening with fungi, cooking with mushrooms, and many more. OKMS will also host workshops taught by experts from from around the country.
